Welcome to Kilburn Infant & Nursery School! We are a Derbyshire Local Authority Infant & Nursery educational day school. We have extensive grounds with 3 purpose equipped buildings, each providing different learning environments for each year group:
We also provide childcare & education to children from the term after they are 3 years old in our Nursery. We offer 15 'Universal' hours in the mornings, or 30 full-time hours, or 'Pay-as-you-go' afternoons. Children attending Nursery in the mornings can also bring a packed lunch and stay for the afternoon. |
Our aims at Kilburn Infant & Nursery School are to:

- Provide a broad, balanced and progressive EYFS and Key Stage One National Curriculum
- Develop the full potential of every child to thrive and achieve
- Teach safe, healthy lifestyles and promote mental wellbeing

- Have high expectations of teaching & learning and school environments

We send out all of our messages and information to parents/carers on our 'Parenthub'. Our Facebook page is also a great place to look to find out about our school, and we post daily/weekly photographs of learning, environment, events, and busy, happy children on there!
